Job summary

GGS IT Consulting in Kraków seeks a Senior Data Solutions Engineer to blend business analysis with IT solution design. You will integrate data from legacy and modern systems into a reliable data foundation to support analytics, automation, and AI-based solutions.

You will design scalable data infrastructure, develop data-driven applications, and connect data with AI, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver future-proof solutions in a hybrid, international context.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• SQL programming knowledge (expert).
• Python or other programming language knowledge.
• Experience in working with data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or Snowflake.
• Experience in GIT.
• Experience in designing ETL processes and software implementation.
• English knowledge (C1 level) is a must- both spoken and written (working with international clients).
• High communication skills - consulting approach.
• Teamwork skills, good organization, planning, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing scalable data solutions using modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake;
• Building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines, ETL processes, and system integrations;
• Designing data models, databases, and data warehouse architectures to support business and analytical requirements;
• Developing data processing solutions using Python and SQL and/or other technologies;
• Gathering requirements from customers;
• Proposing business solutions for customers’ needs;
• Preparing a necessary technical specification;
• Planning next releases, scoping the implementation;
• Working closely with team members and managing code review;
• Solving the issues with the existing architecture and delivery process;
• Working closely with customers, communicating project status, raising risks.
