Job summary

G-P seeks aSenior Software Engineer to architect and scale our AI-native Data Platform. You will design self-service frameworks and high-performance engines powering products across the company, ensuring reliable data at scale.

You will lead platform engineering, own cost-efficient Databricks pipelines, and drive data contracts with governance. Mentoring engineers and advancing AI-assisted development are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production-scale data systems.
• Deep Databricks/Spark expertise (Delta Lake, DLT, Spark UI).
• Real-time streaming architecture experience (Spark Structured Streaming, Kafka, or Kinesis).
• Strong cloud cost optimization in high-growth environments.
• Experience building APIs, tools, or internal frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Architect the Data Platform and internal SDKs for self-serve data ingests.
• Own platform performance, tuning Spark plans and auto-scaling.
• Drive data contracts and governance across global ecosystem.
• Lead AI-assisted SDLC and mentor engineers on distributed systems.
