Entrada AI is seeking an experienced Databricks Data Architect to lead client data architectures and strategy. You will define how data is stored, consumed, integrated, and governed, collaborating with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure scalable and secure systems.

The role emphasizes data modeling, governance, and cross‑team leadership, with up to 20% travel and a focus on enterprise data platforms across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields.
• 4+ years of experience with Databricks.
• Strong understanding of data management, modeling, ETL, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the development of the overall data architecture for databases, warehouses, and data lakes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data architecture solutions.
• Define data management processes: modeling, metadata, quality, and governance.
• Ensure data security and regulatory compliance with appropriate access controls.
• Optimize architectures for performance, scalability, and cost in on‑premise and cloud environments.
• Provide guidance to data engineers, analysts, and developers on best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with trends in data architecture and apply them to infrastructure.
• Create and maintain documentation for data flows, models, and system integrations.
• Travel to client sites as needed (up to 20% travel).
