Kontakt.io is searching for a Senior Engineer to lead the architecture of its Data Platform in Krakow. This role focuses on implementing scalable, AI-augmented data solutions and enhancing privacy and compliance within healthcare environments.

The ideal candidate should possess 6+ years of experience in software engineering, expertise in Kafka and Kubernetes, and familiarity with AWS and data modeling. The position offers a hybrid work model with part-time onsite presence.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with distributed systems at scale.
• Proven experience leading architecture proposals and driving them to production.
• Solid background in Kubernetes and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement streaming and batch data pipelines.
• Apply AI-first engineering practices and champion them within the team.
• Build event-driven systems using Kafka.
