econsulting is seeking a Senior Data Ingestion Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines for document processing. You will leverage AWS Textract, Python, SQL, and serverless orchestration to extract, transform and load data from complex documents.

The role emphasizes robust automation, monitoring with CloudWatch, and collaboration with client engineering teams during CET business hours.

Qualifications

7+ years total experience as a Data Engineer with Python and SQL.
5+ years hands-on AWS experience.
Proven data ingestion pipeline design, deployment and maintenance.
Experience with OCR and AWS Textract for complex documents.
AWS core stack: S3, Step Functions, CloudWatch.
Professional English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Pipeline Architecture & Development: build end-to-end document data ingestion pipelines.
OCR & Text Extraction: implement AWS Textract data extraction for various document formats.
Orchestration & Workflow Management: design pipelines using AWS Step Functions.
Data Processing & Transformation: write Python scripts and SQL queries to parse and transform data.
Monitoring & Reliability: set up alerts, monitoring, logging, and error handling via CloudWatch.
Collaboration: work with client teams in CET business hours.
