Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Data Software Engineer to join its Data Practice. You will work on diverse big data projects, implementing data ingestion pipelines and transforming data with Spark and cloud services.

You will collaborate with data scientists and IT professionals, ensure data integrity and security, and help shape best practices for big data platforms. Hybrid work within Poland is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related technical field is required.
• 5+ years of software development experience with Big Data technologies.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala or Java.

Responsibilities

• Ingest data from diverse sources using RDBMS, REST APIs, flat files and streams.
• Process and transform data with Spark and cloud services.
• Collaborate with data scientists and IT teams to implement business logic.
• Develop dashboards and validate data accuracy.
