Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to advance data platforms and drive Snowflake-enabled solutions. Based in Katowice, you’ll join a global delivery network and collaborate with EY teams on international projects across Azure, AWS and GCP.

The role blends office and remote work with a strong emphasis on data engineering excellence. You’ll work on data warehousing, ETL, and modern data architectures, applying DevOps and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Solving complex business problems at scale.
• Participating in cross-functional initiatives across domains.
• Interacting with engineers, product managers, and partners worldwide.
• 4 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• 3 years of Snowflake experience.
• 3 years of Big Data experience.
• Proficient in SQL or Python.
• Background in data warehousing, ETL, distributed data processing, software engineering components and data modeling concepts.
• Analytical problem-solving in big data environments.
• Experience with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
• Experience in at least one public cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Strong design techniques for relational databases and non-relational storage.
• Knowledge of Data Marts, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Data Mesh.
• Very good English (verbal and written).
• Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban), DevOps and CI/CD.

• As a Senior Data Engineer you are responsible for building data platforms that enable our clients and business partners to make efficient decisions with ease.
• You design robust solutions on state-of-the-art data engines such as Snowflake.
