Job summary

Netguru is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a 3-6 month engagement. The role is fully remote within the European Union on a freelance B2B contract with a pay rate of 150–175 PLN per hour.

You will build data pipelines using Python, Databricks, and dbt, work with SQL and data mapping, and integrate REST APIs. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in data engineering, strong streaming experience (Kafka/Debezium), Data Vault knowledge, and Azure cloud exposure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software or data engineering
• Experience with Python data pipelines and building data workflows
• Proficiency in SQL and data mapping
• Experience integrating with REST APIs
• Hands-on with event streaming (Kafka/Debezium)
• Knowledge of Data Vault modeling and cloud services
• English fluency for technical docs and vendor communications
