Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize modern data solutions in a dynamic, client-facing role. You will lead projects, build scalable pipelines, and collaborate with data architects and delivery teams while leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.

The role supports remote work and requires strong SQL and Python skills, plus experience with data governance, GDPR, and secure CI/CD practices. Fluency in Polish and English is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python development.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise data pipelines and transformation frameworks.
• Understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and lakehouse architectures.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and optimizing modern data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
• Developing and maintaining data pipelines, notebooks, dataflows, and transformation processes.
• Supporting the development of scalable lakehouse, warehousing, and analytics solutions.
• Collaborating with Data Architects and customer engineering teams.
• Implementing CI/CD and automated deployments; applying secure engineering practices.
