Job summary

Inetum Polska is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build data pipelines in Databricks, using PySpark and SQL to deliver governed data products for client projects. You will work in a senior, client-facing capacity and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Europe, communicating in German to engage with stakeholders.

The role allows remote work for candidates based in Poland and offers professional development through training, certifications, and participation in technology

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Databricks.
• Advanced PySpark and SQL skills.
• Experience designing production-grade data pipelines.
• Experience building governed data products.
• Knowledge of Unity Catalog and data governance.
• Experience integrating SAP or similar enterprise sources.
• Experience with Azure or AWS data platforms.
• Git and CI/CD experience.
• Ability to work independently in a senior client-facing role.
• Professional German, English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines in Databricks.
• Build and maintain reusable data products.
• Implement data governance and Unity Catalog.
• Integrate and transform data from SAP systems.
• Develop solutions using PySpark and SQL.
• Support source-to-target mapping, data modelling, and data quality controls.
• Work with business, data, and platform stakeholders to translate requirements into technical implementation.
• Contribute to Git-based development, testing, deployment, and CI/CD processes.
• Document implemented solutions and support knowledge transfer.
