Salestube is seeking a (Senior) Data Engineer to define our Google Cloud architecture and mentor the team. You will move beyond simple ticket work to become a force multiplier, shaping data platforms and best practices.

You will design scalable cloud data architectures, lead discovery sessions, standardize ELT patterns, and ensure data security and quality. English at least B2 is required, with a hybrid work model.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of commercial data engineering experience with Google Cloud.
• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification or in progress within first month.
• Advanced knowledge of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataproc, IAM, Networking.
• Practical experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Cloud Build), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), plus Airflow.
• Advanced SQL skills and Python proficiency; write clean, optimized code.
• Strong communication; act as a technical partner for stakeholders; English at least B2.
• Nice to have: Docker/Kubernetes familiarity; Data Mesh concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Design scalable Google Cloud data architectures from the ground up.
• Moderate discovery sessions; translate architecture into business value.
• Transform ETL scripts into ELT frameworks; define orchestration rules.
• Design and implement security standards, audit logging, and data quality monitoring.
• Mentor the team via pair programming, set technical standards, and review code.
