Job summary

Salestube in Warszawa is seeking a (Senior) Data Engineer to mentor the team, define architecture on Google Cloud, and raise standards. You will drive operational excellence, lead architectural discussions, and translate client needs into scalable technical solutions.

You will transform ETL scripts into ELT, implement security and data quality monitoring, and review code to ensure best practices. The role offers hybrid work and strong growth in a leading martech/ecommerce agency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in data engineering with Google Cloud.
• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification expected or to be obtained within the first month.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable Google Cloud data architectures from the ground up, filling workloads of a Cloud Architect.
• Moderate discovery sessions, translate architectural concepts into business value, and challenge client requests.
• Transform ETL scripts into standardized ELT frameworks and define orchestration rules.
• Design and implement security standards, audit logging, and data quality monitoring.
• Act as technical mentor for the team through pair programming and code reviews.
