Job summary

Vecten is partnering with a US insurance leader to rebuild and operate a modern data platform. You’ll replace legacy ETL with new pipelines and manage a bronze/silver/gold architecture across Azure and Snowflake.

This role involves productionizing ML scoring, ingesting third‑party data feeds, and owning the DevOps under the data platform, including CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, and cost optimization.

Collaborate with client stakeholders and vendor teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience building data pipelines with Airflow in Azure/Snowflake environments.
• Ability to productionize ML workflows from notebooks into scheduled pipelines.
• Experience ingesting third-party data feeds and managing databases.
• Strong DevOps practices for data platforms including IaC and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with AWS-to-Azure migration and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate data pipelines across Azure and Snowflake using Airflow.
• Productionize ML scoring workflows and automate end-to-end data processes.
• Ingest third-party data feeds and manage internal databases.
• Develop reporting outputs for carriers and partners.
• Own DevOps for the data platform, including security and monitoring.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and vendor teams.
