Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a Senior Snowflake Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions. You will work on Snowflake databases, ETL processes, and DBT transformations to support modern data and AI initiatives.

Collaborate with architects and analysts, implement RBAC, optimize queries, and automate deployments with Azure DevOps. Strong SQL, data modeling, and Python skills are essential; AWS/Streamlit knowledge is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years in data engineering with Snowflake and DBT.
• Extensive SQL for large data volumes.
• Strong data warehousing and modeling knowledge (OLTP/OLAP, DV2).
• Experience building DBT data transformations.
• Snowflake performance tuning and query optimization.
• CI/CD experience, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design Snowflake databases, schemas, views, and data layers.
• Manage RBAC and security policies.
• Build Snowpipe, external stages, and batch loading.
• Create production Snowflake pipelines and data flows.
• Write optimized SQL for ETL.
• Use Python for data processing and automation.
• Develop DBT jobs and CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.
• Document data models and workflows.
• Build data tests and mock data frameworks.
• Knowledge of AWS and Streamlit is a plus.
