Job summary

InPost is seeking a Senior Data Developer to transform data into trusted foundations for decision-making and automation. You will blend engineering with business context, ensuring data quality and AI-assisted work is verified before implementation.

You’ll design ETL/ELT pipelines, develop Databricks data layers, and provide reliable data to analysts and product teams across a growing European network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT processes and data models for analytics.
• Production data processes monitoring and data quality assurance.
• Cloud experience, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark and Databricks.
• Understanding of Data Lake/Delta Lake architecture.
• Git and Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain ETL/ELT processes with SQL, PySpark and Python.
• Develop data layers in Databricks, Data Lake and Delta Lake.
• Automate and orchestrate data loading and transformations.
• Ensure data quality with validation, monitoring and incident handling.
• Optimize SQL queries, Spark processes and storage structures.
• Provide ready-to-use data to analysts, product owners and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain technical docs in Confluence.
• Use AI tools as accelerators with thorough verification.
