Job summary

InPost is seeking a senior data engineer who will architect and own the feature-store and agentic workflows powering our credit decisioning. You will define patterns, ensure correctness and drive cross-domain reuse in a regulated, scalable environment.

You will work closely with the Head of Data Engineering and Head of ML, owning the end-to-end data platform design and setting high standards through influence. Hybrid work with office presence in Poland is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering at scale; 5+ years in Spark/Databricks or lakehouse architecture.
• Expert in SQL, data modelling and Python (7+ years); cost engineering.
• Experience with agentic coding tools, loop engineering and LLM behaviour.
• Staff-level engineer who influences standards through leadership.
• Strong data-quality, observability, lineage and GDPR governance.
• Production experience with feature-store or ML data serving in fintech/payments.

Responsibilities

• Design and own feature-store architecture used by credit decisioning.
• Set pipeline patterns, modelling standards and data lineage.
• Lead high-complexity data initiatives and cross-domain reuse.
• Design agent loops (context, tools, evals, guardrails) for reliability.
• Shape data that powers money-making decisions and faster insights.
