InPost is building a scale-up where AI flows through the data fabric. You’ll be the anchor hire for the data engineering team, shaping design decisions for pipelines ingesting, validating, and modeling data for credit origination, underwriting, and portfolio reporting.

You will own agentic harnesses and loop-based workflows around the feature store, ensuring point-in-time data, freshness, and governance across GDPR-aligned datasets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering.
• 3+ years with Spark/Databricks or lakehouse equivalents.
• 5+ years using SQL, data modelling, and Python for data engineering.
• 2+ years with advanced agentic coding tools and loop engineering.
• Batch and streaming pipeline design on a lakehouse architecture.
• Dimensional and event-based data modelling for analytics and ML.
• SQL performance tuning and partitioning on large tables.
• Python and Spark; orchestration with Airflow/Workflows.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data governance concepts.
• English proficiency at B2 or above.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and operate batch and streaming data pipelines on the lakehouse (Databricks/Spark).
• Build and maintain a feature store used by BNPL Origination and MCA Underwriting.
• Create agentic loops and tooling for reliable, observable data pipelines.
• Model financial and behavioural data with governed datasets and clear ownership.
• Embed data quality, observability, and alerting as core deliverables.
• Maintain post-production accountability: monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis.
