Job summary

DATA4 is seeking a Data Center Field Engineer – Controls and BMS to lead controls, automation and operational supervision of data centre infrastructure. You will oversee design, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of BMS/EPMS systems, ensuring reliability and efficiency aligned with corporate standards.

The role requires 7+ years in field engineering for BMS/PLC/SCADA in mission‑critical facilities, a relevant degree, and strong problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on field engineering with BMS and controls in critical facilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Automation and Control Systems engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency with PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell) and SCADA environments.
• Expertise in at least one major BMS platform and related analytics.
• Experience with FAT/SAT IST and commissioning within construction projects.
• Fluent English, additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audits of Controls, BMS, EPMS, and monitoring systems across sites.
• Lead documentation, architecture diagrams, SLDs, and operating procedures.
• Support commissioning, integration testing, and SOO validation for new builds.
• Develop training programs to elevate engineering competencies.
• Create technical dashboards and analytics for proactive performance management.
• Collaborate with customers, auditors and vendors on technical inquiries.
