Job summary

SmartTech Contracting LLC is looking for a Lead Control Systems Engineer to provide leadership and expertise in building automation system (BAS) and electrical power monitoring system (EPMS) design for hyperscale data centers. This remote role requires significant experience in BAS design and collaboration with various engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will manage complex projects and lead teams, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to company standards while providing excellent communication with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience with hands-on installation, testing, validation and troubleshooting of controls infrastructure.
• Minimum eight years of additional experience with BAS and EPMS design, with at least half in hyperscale data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop client standards and assist with building automation roadmaps.
• Lead integration designs for DDC and PLC based BAS and EPMS systems.
• Manage project communication and prepare progress reports.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline
