Software Mind is seeking a Data Architect to lead architecture design and delivery across client projects. You will design target-state architectures (cloud, hybrid, on‑prem) and select core platforms like Snowflake and Databricks, while guiding analytics and data governance foundations.

You’ll collaborate with presales and delivery teams, review designs, and ensure high quality across engagements. Fluent English and strong data modeling are required; cloud experience across Azure/AWS/GCP is a

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering or data architecture, incl. 3+ years in an architect role.
• Hands-on with Snowflake and Databricks; expert in at least one, working knowledge of the other.
• Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP data services.
• Strong data modeling skills: Kimball, Data Vault, 3NF.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with orchestration/transformation tools (Airflow, dbt, ADF).
• Solid understanding of data security, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Client-facing experience and ability to explain technical trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Very good English, spoken and written (C1).
• Certifications in Snowflake, Databricks or cloud architecture are a plus.
• Experience with Fabric, BigQuery or Redshift is a plus.
• Streaming and event-driven architectures knowledge is a plus.
• Data catalogs and MDM knowledge is a plus.
• Semantic layer and knowledge graphs knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Architect and deliver data & analytics solutions across client projects.
• Design target-state architectures (cloud, hybrid, on-prem) aligned with business goals.
• Select technologies with Snowflake/Databricks as core platforms; design lakehouse/warehouse/data lake patterns.
• Define security, HA/DR, performance and cost optimization.
• Build data governance foundations: catalog, metadata, lineage, quality, data contracts.
• Lead presales activities: workshops, solution design, proposals and PoCs.
• Review designs and ensure quality across projects; act as technical authority.
