Job summary

SwingDev— the Polish branch of a fast-growing InsurTech company— is hiring a Senior Data Architect to shape our foundational data platform. You will lead architectural decisions for analytics, ML, and agentic systems, driving pragmatic, scalable lakehouse implementations in cloud environments.

You will own the data platform from concept to execution, guiding senior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience building large-scale data platforms.
• Deep expertise with modern data stack including data lakehouse concepts.
• Strong command of English and Polish (written & spoken).
• Ability to prototype fast in cloud environments and defend architectural choices with senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Shape high-level data architecture and platform strategy for analytics, ML, and agentic systems.
• Design and prototype scalable lakehouse environments in real cloud and cluster setups.
• Establish governance, observability, and cataloging with a data mesh approach.
• Prototype complex solutions and drive architectural decisions.
