Job summary

State Street in Poland is seeking a Senior Custody Specialist to drive daily custody operations and support the Custody Operations Manager in delivering high-quality service. The role requires English fluency and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to operational excellence.

You will independently manage daily BAU tasks, coordinate activities for Associates, and maintain robust process documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or custody operations is a plus.
• Strong BAU execution and ability to document processes (SOPs) accurately.
• Fluency in English; Italian skills are a strong advantage for servicing Italian clients.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage daily BAU tasks and ensure timely execution.
• Lead and coordinate daily BAU activities for Associates.
• Manage internal workflow to meet processing and client deadlines.
• Act as the first point of contact for operational teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Identify and elevate operational issues to the appropriate Manager.
• Draft and maintain SOPs, job aids, and process documentation.
• Assist in reporting and analytics preparation for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational improvements.
• Participate in client or internal projects as required.
• Provide timely and professional responses to all enquiries, resolve errors/rejections.
