M&A Senior Consultant for Cyber Security

Location: Wrocław / Katowice - 2 days office/3 days remote

We are seeking an M&A Senior Consultant for Cyber Security to join the GDS Transaction Strategy and Execution team in Poland.

The opportunity

Our team is one of the largest M&A groups of advisors, focusing on transformation advice for private and public clients. Our deep sector knowledge and global network with local market experts enable us to add real value to our client’s projects.

Your key responsibilities

You will be working on M&A transaction projects and will be mostly responsible for consulting high‑class solutions and successfully delivering IT projects in cyber security and technology areas for global companies in the US and Europe.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Knowledge on information security and cyber defence
• +6 years’ experience in IT project management, IT infrastructure and in IT consulting roles
• Well versed in information security regulations and law
• Knowledge of industry leading standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO and CIS
• Ability to travel and work across EU (up to 20% annually)
• Excellent written and verbal command of English (German and other European language will be a plus)
• Experience with corporate transactions (due diligence, integrations, separations)
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours to work with international teams (e.g. United States)

Ideally, you’ll also have

• University degree in field related to IT
• Cyber security certifications
• Experience in building strong working relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice and support to key decision makers
• Already gained experience in international environment (especially with US and UK)
