Job description
Your tasks
  • You manage or contribute to our projects in the area of compliance for financial services companies by analyzing client specific needs, their regulatory requirements based on their business and operating model as well as geographic location - as well as designing tailor-made solutions to ensure both a secure as well as compliant client
  • You work out comprehensive implementation strategies for new or modified regulatory requirements by reviewing the regulatory presets, the as is processes and procedures as well as potential gaps; deriving roll out plans as well as supporting with the implantation adjusting compliance governance standards and support the implementation of technical and organization security measures
  • You help to develop compliance strategies, compliance plan and vision/mission statement, awareness programs and concepts e.g. leading-edge Compliance risk management, control environments advanced organizational models as well as automated processes and use of modern technologies in Compliance
  • You contribute to our market studies (e.g. our Compliance Maturity Assessment – Benchmarking against market leaders), publish own articles and white papers on topics driving the market. You also support recruiting and our university marketing
  • With increasing experience, you will take on more responsibility, present work results to our customers, manage project streams, lead projects and become increasingly involved in business development activities
Your skills
  • University degree in economics, law (Master’s or PhD) or comparable academic background
  • Ideally, you already have professional or project experience in consulting, the financial sector, or within a compliance function of a financial institution
  • You are diligent, love to work in a team, and are used to think out of the box
  • You think strategically and enjoy challenging the status quo
  • You understand how to combine your business/financial services sector-oriented knowledge with regulatory requirements (e.g. Anti Money Laundering Act, MiFID II, other European and national acts)
  • In addition to your mother tongue, you speak fluently English. German language skills (C1/C2 level) would be favorable
