Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in construction, training, workforce development, or related field.
• Hands-on field leadership experience as foreman/superintendent or similar role.
• Proven experience building or implementing construction training programs for workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement construction workforce development, training, upskilling, and career progression programs.
• Work with contractors, training providers, and industry partners to identify workforce needs and develop training solutions.
• Apply field experience to ensure programs reflect industry realities and needs.
• Collaborate with NCCER’s accredited network to understand market training and workforce development needs.
• Support organizational growth, sales, and marketing strategies related to workforce development.
• Partner with Pearson’s sales and marketing teams to support growth strategies and customer needs.
• Build relationships with contractors, industry associations, governmental agencies, educational institutions, and NCCER stakeholders.
• Promote industry credentials, structured training, and lifelong learning for construction craft professionals.
• Use data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
