Job summary

The National Center for Construction Education seeks a Crane Product Manager responsible for day-to-day stewardship of the Crane, Rigger, and Signal Person product line, aligning development with NCCER’s strategic vision and regulatory needs.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage a product roadmap, monitor performance, and grow revenue through partnerships and market insights, while ensuring programs meet employer workforce demands.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in construction industry, workforce development, or heavy equipment sectors.
• Experience launching and managing regulated products or programs.
• Proven revenue growth responsibility.
• Strong ability to build relationships with owners, operators, contractors, and industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate executive strategy into an actionable product roadmap and day-to-day priorities.
• Gather customer feedback, market intelligence, and product performance data to develop informed recommendations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure product enhancements are delivered effectively.
• Managing the ongoing prioritization of features, enhancements, bug fixes, and customer requests.
• Identify risks, tradeoffs, and opportunities, and bring thoughtful recommendations to leadership for key decisions.
• Monitoring product adoption, customer satisfaction, and business performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Serving as the primary point of accountability for the product’s day-to-day health and execution.
• Own the crane certification product portfolio.
• Develop annual growth strategy and revenue targets in conjunction with executive leadership team.
• Identify gaps in crane certification offerings.
• Monitor industry trends, regulations, and workforce demands.
• Build product roadmaps for new certifications and endorsements.
