Job summary

Zebra Technologies Corporation is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Software Developer in Gliwice to advance our fixed industrial smart cameras and desktop tooling. You will work on Linux/Windows native codebases, focusing on a high-performance on-device runtime engine and vision-tools integration library.

The role demands deep C++ expertise, real-time optimization, robust software design, and hands-on use of modern toolchains.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
5+ years of work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Establishes requirements and prioritizes features for moderately complex, cross-platform native software projects.
Completes all phases of software design and development, turning core algorithms into high-performance, product-ready tools using modern C++ (C++23).
Leads and participates in code reviews, maintaining high-quality standards (0 warnings, clang-tidy, clang-format, SonarQube).
Explores agentic AI programming tools to accelerate coding and enhance software implementations.
Reviews and refines designs, optimizing real-time image-processing pipelines and IPC on resource-constrained hardware.
Develops tests and comprehensive documentation for a high-quality product.
Provides recommendations and solutions across architecture, hardware boundaries, and machine vision.
May develop custom tools/scripts to streamline cross-compilation, debugging, or testing processes.
Mentors junior staff and collaborates with senior engineers and external partners.
