Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Warsaw seeks a Commercial Manager for AP1000 New Plants Projects to oversee contract management throughout the project lifecycle. You will support a Commercial Director, coordinate with Legal, and ensure adherence to company procedures while working in a hybrid setup with three days in the office.

The role requires 5–8 years of contract management experience in Europe, strong English, and knowledge of EPC project execution in the power sector.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Cost Engineering, Business Administration or Finance; Contract Management.
• At least 5-8 years real experience as Contract Manager for projects in Europe.
• Experience in Power Industry EPC Project execution would be preferable (engineering, procurement and construction).
• Experience in contract negotiations, contract analyzing, change orders negotiations, risks and opportunities monitoring and claim management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities, manage time and multi-task.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to explain requirements to senior leadership and non-contract managers.

Responsibilities

• Current Contract Execution from project kick-off to closure and subsequent contract management activities.
• Execution of contract strategy and implementation of strategic contract opportunities.
• Support Legal in dispute resolution and keep Legal updated on critical developments.
• Analyze contract terms to identify opportunities and risks; develop mitigation plans with Commercial Director.
• Ensure contract insurance provisions are observed.
• Support procurement and subscontracts to include flow-down of main terms.
• Assist Commercial Director in EPC contract negotiations and execution through EP+C until closure.
• Draft Project Review documentation and executive briefings on status of updates, changes, and settlements.
• Execute change order procedures, invoicing, and analyze commercial data with project controls.
