Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own reliability for Cloud Native products and services. You will work with DevOps engineers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure reliability, performance, and automation across existing and new cloud-native offerings.

The role blends hands-on engineering with incident response, platform configuration, and service quality, guided by ITIL and SRE best practices. Flexible working in regular and evening shifts with on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in site reliability engineering or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native environments and related architectures.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management.

Responsibilities

• Support the operational and enhancement of mission-critical environments for cloud-native products and services.
• Collaborate with product development teams to improve monitoring, observability, reliability, and performance of services.
• Work across engineering teams to understand systems at the code level.
• Manage and improve infrastructure deployment pipelines and troubleshoot onboarding and operational issues.
• Drive capacity planning to ensure platform resilience and scalability as the company grows.
• Build tools and automation to remove manual toil and improve developer velocity and reliability.
• Define and manage SLOs and error budgets with Engineering teams.
• Contribute to incidents, problems, and change management processes.
• Execute disaster recovery, configuration management, and platform readiness tasks.
• Participate in regular & evening shift rotations; provide weekend or on-call support as needed.
• Collaborate with Agile teams and participate in design discussions with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing across multiple Product Areas.
• Leverage ITIL practices for problem, change, and incident management.
