Job summary

Infolet is seeking a Senior AWS/Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, secure, and operate scalable cloud platforms supporting software engineering, DevSecOps, observability, and modern data platform use cases.

You will work across AWS and Azure, combining cloud-native engineering with infrastructure automation, CI/CD, platform engineering and data/lakehouse architecture, collaborating with globally distributed teams across APAC, Europe and North America.

• Hands-on AWS with compute, storage, networking, security, and data services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate secure, scalable AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Develop DevSecOps automation, CI/CD workflows, reusable pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Build platform engineering capabilities and automation frameworks.
• Implement event-driven and serverless solutions using Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, Step Functions and CloudWatch.
• Support data platform engineering across ingestion, transformation, governance, cataloguing, data quality and serving.
• Implement data lake/lakehouse architectures using Landing, Bronze, Silver and Gold layers.
• Work with Apache Iceberg, AWS Glue Data Catalog, Spark and EMR Serverless.
• Implement cloud security controls including IAM/RBAC, secrets management, encryption, audit logging, vulnerability scanning and policy-as-code.
• Work with containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes, including EKS/AKS
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, operating procedures and engineering standards
• Troubleshoot complex cloud, infrastructure, integration and platform issues
• Collaborate with engineering teams, architects and stakeholders across multiple regions
