Job summary

Talanto in Kraków is seeking a Senior Software Security Engineer – Cloud Native Backend to join a hybrid team. You will build secure, scalable backend services using Python/Django, Node.js/NestJS, and Go, delivering production-grade systems.

You will design OAuth2/OpenID Connect flows on Google Cloud, architect for GKE, and optimize PostgreSQL performance while mentoring engineers and driving secure-by-design practices across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python, Node.js, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services (Cloud Run, GKE, Filestore) and IaC (Terraform).
• Strong knowledge of secure, scalable backend design with Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Python (Django), Node.js (Typescript/NestJS), and Go.
• Lead OAuth2/OpenID Connect flows within Google Cloud Platform to optimize security and UX.
• Architect for Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and optimize PostgreSQL queries for high concurrency.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions with automation.
• Contribute to open-source projects and share knowledge via blogs or GitHub.
• Collaborate across teams to uphold technical standards and modern engineering practices.
• Mentor teammates and promote a security-first mindset throughout service lifecycles.
