Job summary

ITDS in Kraków is seeking a Senior Software Security Engineer – Cloud Native Backend to shape secure, scalable backend services. You will work with Python, Node.js, and Go in a hybrid, cloud-first environment, implementing OAuth2/OpenID Connect flows on GCP and building resilient, cost-efficient systems.

The role emphasizes security by design, performance tuning of PostgreSQL, Kubernetes/GKE, Terraform, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python, Node.js or Go.
• Fluent English and EU work eligibility.
• Experience with GCP services and IaC (Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python, Node.js, and Go.
• Lead OAuth2/OpenID Connect implementations in Google Cloud Platform.
• Architect for GKE and optimize PostgreSQL for high concurrency.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Contribute to open-source projects and share knowledge.
