GFT Technologies Poland is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to identify, quantify, and deliver cloud cost optimisation opportunities across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will combine cloud engineering, automation, IaC, and FinOps to reduce cloud costs and improve cost transparency in a multi-cloud environment.

You will analyse logging, routing, retention, tiering, and exclusion rules, build automation for cost optimisation, and prepare executive-level reports with clear assumptions.

Formación

• Experience identifying cloud cost optimisation opportunities across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Ability to analyse log ingestion, routing, retention, tiering, and exclusion rules.
• Proficiency with cloud-native tools to identify cost drivers.
• Experience building automation for logging and storage cost optimisation at enterprise scale.
• Familiarity with IaC and automated deployment pipelines.
• Prepare rollback plans and post-change validation.
• Produce savings forecasts and business cases with clear assumptions.
• Define cloud cost policies, guardrails, and budget alerts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on with two public cloud platforms; Azure core services, AWS, GCP cost drivers.

Responsabilidades

• Build automation for logging and storage cost optimisation at scale.
• Implement cost optimisations using IaC and automated pipelines.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and business cases.
• Define governance, guardrails, and budget alerts.
• Collaborate with platform, app, and engineering teams.
• Present findings to senior engineering stakeholders.
• Create runbooks and technical documentation.
• Monitor cost regression and drift detection.
