Job summary

GFT Technologies SE in Poland is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with Azure to oversee the Azure environment, conduct monitoring, sizing and cost optimization, and provide advisory insights. The role focuses on ensuring secure and compliant operations within a hybrid work model and cross-functional collaboration.

You will handle Azure consumption reports, automation, and scripting, while collaborating with IT teams and stakeholders to uphold best practices and project delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in cloud operations or related field.
• Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Jira Service Management.
• Knowledge of scripting (Python).
• Knowledge of Terraform.
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools e.g Ansible.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

What will you do?

As a Senior Cloud Engineer with Azure, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of our Azure environment. , You will be responsible for performing regular operations related to Azure monitoring, backup monitoring, patch management, Azure compliance, sizing optimizations and advisory, as well as Azure consumption reports, follow-ups on Azure security scores.
