Job summary

GFT Technologies SE in Kraków is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Azure Cloud Services team, building resilient, scalable cloud infrastructure and supporting faster delivery in a cloud-native environment. You will collaborate with the Azure Engineering Lead, Microsoft, Cyber Security, and the DevOps Chapter to drive reliability, operational excellence and automation for cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience building a range of services in Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD practices, including coding, tooling, and techniques.
• Experience working with multiple support groups contributing to a service.
• Experience selecting, designing, and implementing automation and compliance frameworks for cloud-based deployments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a DevOps engineer across infrastructure and application improvements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet SLI/SLO targets and improve them.
• Monitor and manage the Azure foundation platform to enable deployments.
• Partner with business owners and technology teams using cloud-based infrastructure.
• Drive infrastructure design changes through to production with the feature delivery team.
• Conduct root cause analysis for performance and availability issues.
• Suggest monitoring and incident response improvements.
• Implement engineering activities related to centrally provided patches.

Type of contract: Employment contract

Salary range: 15900–24300 PLN gross/month

What will you do?

You will join the global Azure Cloud Services team and support highly resilient, scalable, reusable, and high-performing Azure infrastructure. Working closely with the Azure Engineering Lead, Microsoft, Cyber Security, and the DevOps Chapter, you will help ensure continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and contribute to reliability, operational excellence, and faster delivery in a cloud-native environment.

Your tasks

• Serve as a DevOps engineer across infrastructure and application improvements
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure business SLI and SLO targets are met and continuously improved
• Monitor and manage the Azure foundation platform to enable application deployments
• Act as a trusted partner for business application owners and technology teams using cloud-based infrastructure
• Identify areas for improvement in infrastructure design and drive changes through to production with the feature delivery team
• Conduct root cause analysis for issues and incidents affecting system performance and availability
• Contribute recommendations to improve monitoring and incident response
• Implement engineering activities related to centrally provided patches

Your skills

• Experience building a range of services in Azure
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices, including coding, tooling, and techniques
• Experience working with multiple support groups contributing to a service
• Experience selecting, designing, and implementing automation and compliance frameworks for cloud-based virtual compute resource deployments

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-tier application architecture, development, deployment, and support
