Job summary

CloudLinux Inc. is looking for a visionary engineer to lead the shift towards a Database-as-a-Service model for our data platform. This role requires expertise in PostgreSQL and ClickHouse, as well as experience in designing resilient distributed systems. You will architect a self-service platform for deploying high-availability databases and manage robust data analytics infrastructure. Qualifications

• 5+ years of deep PostgreSQL experience, including MVCC internals and version upgrades.
• Experience with large ClickHouse clusters and ZooKeeper.
• Strong skills in Terraform modules and Ansible roles.
• Familiarity with both Bare Metal and Kubernetes environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a self-service DBaaS platform using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage and scale analytics clusters, including ClickHouse.
• Ensure the reliability of ETL pipelines and data visualization tools.
• Implement SRE practices and automated self-healing mechanisms.
