Job summary

TransferGo is seeking a Senior Cloud Data Engineer in Warsaw, Poland. Build and operate end-to-end data pipelines on a modern AWS stack (Redshift, S3, Lambda, IAM, Glue, Kinesis, ECS, ECR) using dbt and Airflow. Own infrastructure via CDK/CloudFormation/Terraform with strong emphasis on data quality and observability.

You will work in a greenfield data function in a ~300-person fintech, collaborating with stakeholders and owning pipelines across environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and operating production data pipelines.
• dbt in production with tests and docs across environments.
• Advanced SQL and analytical data modelling.
• Hands-on AWS experience with Redshift, S3, Lambda, IAM, Glue, Kinesis, ECS, ECR.
• Experience with OLAP/MPP warehouses, Redshift preferred.
• Infrastructure as code with CDK, CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Airflow for end-to-end DAGs and scheduling.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions and end-to-end ownership of pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate production data pipelines end to end.
• Develop and maintain dbt models with tests and docs.
• Author, schedule and debug Airflow DAGs.
• Provision and own AWS infrastructure as code.
• Support data access and observability initiatives.
• Own data quality, observability, and CI/CD for pipelines.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into concrete deliverables.
