Job summary

Capgemini Kraków’s Insights & Data team seeks a data engineer to design and implement scalable data solutions on AWS, including data lakes and streaming architectures. You’ll work across the SDLC with modern data frameworks, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires hands-on AWS experience, knowledge of services like Glue, Redshift, Lambda, S3, and Kafka, plus English proficiency. Capgemini offers hybrid work and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Big Data or Cloud projects handling large datasets across SDLC.
• Hands-on AWS cloud experience including Storage, Compute, Networking, and DevOps services.
• Strong understanding of AWS services, ideally with certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions for processing large-scale and unstructured datasets (Data Mesh, Data Lake, or Streaming Architectures).
• Develop and optimize modern DWH/Big Data solutions on AWS within CI/CD environments.
• Improve data processing efficiency and support migrations to public cloud.
• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to deliver cloud-based data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across AWS environments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical improvements.
