EPAM Systems in Kraków is seeking an experienced C++ engineer to design, develop, test, and support high-performance trading platforms. You will build connectivity, APIs, and distributed systems, collaborating with global teams on architecture, releases, and production support.

The role requires 5+ years of C++ experience, strong Linux skills, and familiarity with FIX and trading environments. Hybrid work with a client office 3 days/week in Kraków is offered, with growth opportunities and global

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on C++ development experience.
• Strong knowledge of multithreading, STL, data structures, algorithms, templates, pointers, and socket programming.
• Experience in Linux/Unix environments.
• Good understanding of SQL and database technologies.
• Experience with FIX protocol, order management systems, and trading environments.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Nice to have: equity trading or investment banking experience; Java development knowledge; production (L3) support.
