Job summary

B3consulting Poland is seeking a Senior C++/Qt Engineer to develop the orchestrator application that integrates cloud and desktop services. You will work with Qt6 widgets and core framework to extend functionality while gradually modernizing existing code.

The role requires strong C++ knowledge, memory management and polymorphism, plus Python for tests. You will join an international, Agile/Scrum team in Poland, with opportunities for growth and exposure to diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Mid/Senior level of C++ (14/17) with strong memory management and polymorphism understanding.
• Experience building desktop applications using Qt6 (widgets and core framework) in Windows.
• Knowledge of Python for writing tests.
• Strong results-oriented, autonomous work style; good communication.
• English level: B1/B2 and Polish C1/native; able to work in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Develop the orchestrator application as entry point to the design environment, integrating cloud and desktop services.
• Build new functionalities with Qt6 and core framework, while modernizing existing codebase.
• Participate in the full SDLC within an international Agile/Scrum team.

Areas of responsibility

• Development of the orchestrator application - the entry point to the design environment, integrating cloud and desktop services
• Building new functionalities based on Qt (widgets and core framework mechanisms), while collaborating with existing code and gradually modernizing it
• Participation in the full SDLC - requirements analysis, feature design, code review, technical documentation, and unit/integration testing, within an international team working in an Agile/Scrum methodology

What you need to join us

Must have

• Mid/Senior level of of C++ (14/17), including a deep understanding of memory management, polymorphism and other language fundamentals, enabling efficient reading, analysis and writing of code
• Experience building desktop applications using Qt6 (widgets and core framework mechanisms) in a Windows environment
• Knowledge of Python sufficient for writing tests,
• Soft-skills: results-oriented, efficient, autonomous work
• English - B1/B2, Polish: C1/native
• Ability to work in Poland (citizenship, residence card, visa, etc.)

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Boost library
• Experience with Googletest (gtest, gmock)
• Knowledge of PyWinAuto or similar test automation tools
• Experience with SVN (working exclusively with Git is not a barrier)
• Domain knowledge in electronics, EDA or CAD
