Job summary

Optiveum invites a Senior C# / .NET Developer to join a major global bank project. You will craft and sustain C#/.NET apps as microservices and event-driven solutions, running on Docker and Kubernetes in Microsoft Azure, with GitLab CI/CD.

The role is hybrid in Wroclaw, 4 days per week onsite with the client, full-time. You should have around 10 years of commercial software development experience, fluent English, and hands-on Azure, Oracle/Sybase/PostgreSQL, and deployment tooling expertise.

Qualifications

Senior C# / .NET Developer

About the Offer

We are currently looking for a Senior C# / .NET Developer to join the team of one of the world's leading global investment banks. The project is delivered together with a large international IT services company. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.

You will develop and maintain C#/.NET applications built as microservices and event-driven solutions, running on Docker and Kubernetes in Microsoft Azure and delivered through GitLab CI/CD.

Key Details:

• Rate: 145–160 PLN/h (B2B), depending on experience

• Work Model: Hybrid, 4 days per week from the client's office (non-negotiable), full-time

• Location: Wrocław (candidates must live in or near Wrocław)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using C#/.NET

• Design and implement microservices and event-driven solutions

• Develop and support cloud-based applications on Microsoft Azure

• Work with Oracle, Sybase or PostgreSQL databases

• Build, deploy and maintain applications using Docker and Kubernetes

Requirements:

• Around 10 years of commercial software development experience

• Strong experience with C#/.NET

• Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture

• Polish or EU citizenship, or a permanent residence / work permit valid for at least 12 months

Recruitment Process:

• One interview with the IT services partner, followed by 1–3 interviews with the bank

• Technical tasks are done live: please have your programming environment set up and tested beforehand. The use of AI tools, coding assistants or code generators during interviews is not allowed

• The selected candidate will go through a background check by an external company (HireRight), covering identity, right to work, education and employment history, so the dates and employers in your CV must be accurate
