Job summary

Grid Dynamics in Kraków is seeking a Senior C++ Engineer to join a high‑impact initiative supporting core compiler and ML infrastructure. You will drive OpenXLA PR workflow, troubleshoot complex build and test failures, and collaborate with rotation teams on architectural escalations.

The role requires 5+ years of commercial software experience in modern C++ (C++14/17/20), familiarity with large open‑source codebases, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience with modern C++ (C++14/17/20).
• Experience with large-scale C++ open-source codebases and PR workflows.
• Strong Linux, build systems, CI/CD and debugging expertise.
• Background in semiconductor/hardware or enterprise hardware environments is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, and streamline the OpenXLA PR workflow within a large C++ repository.
• Diagnose, debug, and fix failed OpenXLA PRs and internal tests.
• Monitor PRs, triage issues, and communicate with authors and contributors.
• Troubleshoot build/run-time failures across XLA:GPU and XLA:CPU pipelines.
• Escalate complex compiler/hardware issues to appropriate teams.
