Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with C++, including multi-threading, STL, and templates.
• Proficiency in data structures, casting, pointers, socket programming, and algorithms.
• Development experience in a financial environment working on order management systems, FIX protocol, and order-state handling.
• Background in programming within Linux/Unix environments.
• Expertise in building high-performance, high-availability, low-latency, transaction-oriented distributed systems with high throughput and capacity.
• Knowledge of the equity trading environment, ideally across a multi-regional capacity.
• Excellent communication skills and the capability to explain highly complex functional and non-functional topics to IT and business stakeholders.
• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher.
• Nice to have Prior experience working on a client connectivity system

You will contribute to a multi-year initiative to modernize existing connectivity platforms, collaborating with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders across the globe. This role involves solving challenging architectural problems, enhancing system performance, delivering client-driven functionality, and ensuring compliance with market regulations, while helping the team embrace a DevOps ethos with continuous integration and continuous delivery. This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client's office in Kraków, Poland.
