Job summary

RS2 is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with extensive card payments experience to join our Client Delivery team. You will bridge customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams, translating requirements into scalable solutions aligned with the product roadmap.

The role demands strong communication, stakeholder management, and hands-on analysis across ISOs, APIs, and payment files. Travel availability across Europe, Latin America, and North America is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in card payments industry with BA responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or equivalent.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.
• Experience leading stakeholder engagements and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead Discovery and Requirements Refinement workshops with customers, ensuring requirements are well defined and exploring options re-using platform capabilities.
• Carry out high-quality impact assessments and identify dependencies on downstream systems and operations processes.
• Communicate customer requirements and impact assessments to Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations to ensure alignment and delivery.
• Analyze technical specifications of files, APIs and message systems (e.g., ISO8583) to identify impacts.
• Provide L1/L2 support to customers during SIT and UAT; participate in 24x7 on-call on a roster basis.
• Assist the Project Management team with planning releases to meet client SLAs and dates.
• Lead and participate in client workshops and provide support in remote and onsite environments.
• Maintain tickets with accurate status information and ensure up-to-date progress.

We are seeking a technically oriented Senior Business Systems Analyst with experience in Card

Payments to join our Client Delivery team.

In this role, you’ll act as the trusted bridge between customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring customer requirements are translated into effective and scalable solutions that align with our company’s product roadmap and vision.

This is a customer-facing and hands-on role requiring strong communication, stakeholder

management and sound knowledge of the Card Payments industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead Discovery and Requirements Refinement workshops with customers, ensuring that the
• requirements are well defined and exploring solution options that re-use existing platform
• capabilities rather than one-off custom solutions.
• Carry out high-quality impact assessments and assessing the dependencies and impact on
• downstream systems and operations processes.
• Communicate and articulate the customer requirements and your impact assessment to the
• Product, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Operations ensuring alignment, and successful
• delivery outcomes.
• Analyze technical specifications of files, API’s and other message systems (e.g. ISO8583) to identify impacts.
• Query and analyze merchant, transaction and product-rules data to identify impacts.
• Provide L1/L2 support to customers during SIT and UAT and participate in 24x7 on-call support on a roster basis.
• Assist the Project Management team with planning the releases of changes and projects to meet client SLA’s and launch dates.
• Lead and participate in client workshops and provide support services in both remote and onsite environments.
• Maintain tickets with accurate and up-to-date status information.
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience within the card payments industry, preferably with hands‑on involvement in either of the following: card issuing, merchant acquiring, card scheme compliance, or a related payment technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience gained in a technical environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Comfortable leading stakeholder engagements and workshops in both remote and on‑site environments.
• Willing to travel internationally, particularly across Europe, Latin America, and North America.
