Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Payments Domain to join our growth-driven delivery team in Warsaw. You will partner with business stakeholders to capture strategies and translate them into detailed requirements for development squads.

This role offers exposure to international projects, close collaboration with architects, testers, and legal teams, and opportunities to influence architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven IT analysis or business analysis experience.
• Excellent English written and spoken with international collaboration.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong knowledge of API development, data mapping and process modelling.
• Understanding of the banking sector and payment domain.
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Knowledge of Single Payments and Multi Payments systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business strategies aligned with the target architecture and sustainable solutions.
• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements in cooperation with architects, developers, testers, business and legal stakeholders.
• Translate business strategies into detailed technical requirements for development teams.
• Secure end-to-end requirements traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain requirements documentation, including use cases, and drive quality improvements.
• Support developers and testers within the team and broader delivery organization.
• Verify delivered solutions through test result validation.
• Provide stakeholders with insights on the effectiveness of implemented solutions.

Senior Business Analyst (Payments Domain)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business strategies aligned with the target architecture and sustainable solutions
• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements in cooperation with architects, developers, testers, business and legal stakeholders
• Translate business strategies into detailed technical requirements for development teams

Requirements:

• Proven experience in IT analysis and/or business analysis
• Excellent written and spoken English skills with experience in international collaboration
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
• Strong knowledge of API development, Data Mapping and Process Modelling
• Understanding of the banking sector and payment domain
• Practical knowledge of SQL, user interface prototyping and design
• Familiarity with architecture diagrams, including sequence diagrams
• Solid technical knowledge enabling effective collaboration with developers
• Proficiency with analysis tools and methodologies
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements within the banking sector
• Practical knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs
• Knowledge of Single Payments and Multi Payments systems
