Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Scrum Master in Kraków, Poland, with 5–10 years of IT experience and Japanese–English fluency. You will guide cross‑functional teams, manage SDLC activities, and align business goals with delivery through structured planning and stakeholder collaboration.

The role emphasizes agile delivery, project governance, and bridging Japan and CEE teams to build long‑term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Written and spoken Japanese at JLPT level N1/N2 (not mandatory official certification).
• Written and spoken English at least B2 level.
• Hands-on IT project management experience in software development SDLC.
• Proven track record with customers across SDLC stages.
• Strong communication to bridge Japan and CEE teams.
• Ability to make decisions with limited information.
• Self-reliant and able to guide team through uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and maintain project plans, deliverables, and documentation.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to clarify needs and priorities.
• Translate requirements into actionable specs for delivery team.
• Maintain effective communication with customer, stakeholders and GlobalLogic teams.
• Tailor delivery processes to ensure high quality outcomes.
• Monitor risks, issues and dependencies; mitigate them.
• Manage distributed project teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Support backlog refinement, scope management and change assessments.
• Ensure alignment of business objectives, scope, and solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process and solution improvements.
• Report status, risks, and key challenges clearly to stakeholders.
