Job summary

Aon sp. z o.o. in Kraków seeks a Senior Business Analyst for the Insurance Vertical on a fixed-term contract to drive data-driven insights, dashboards and reports.

You will collaborate across the business to develop revenue and pipeline analyses, lead data stewardship, and deliver ad hoc insights using Power BI, Excel and related tools. The role requires strong data analysis, stakeholder management and the ability to translate business needs into actionable reporting, with hybrid/remote work

Senior Business Analyst - Insurance Vertical (fixed-term)

This role will focus on analysing global data, developing management reports on revenue and pipeline, managing dashboards, preparing ad hoc reports, leading data stewardship in collaboration with Insurance Vertical Team, providing insights, identifying improvement and implementing solutions applying sophisticated tools (i.e. PowerBI, Excel, etc.) for business benefit and data-driven decisions.

This role is offered on 12-15 months fixed term contract and is available both in hybrid and remote working model from our Krakow office.

What the day will look like:

• Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for Insurance Vertical Dashboard and act as the key contact for all ad-hoc business queries
• Lead on data management across the portfolio of tools and reporting insights to improve data quality and utilization
• Design, build, and maintain standard and ad-hoc management reports and presentations including quarterly and monthly business reviews, and other operational dashboards/reports
• Develop new and enhanced revenue, sales, pipeline and market assessment reporting from various tools employing multiple data sources to show key metrics and trends
• Identify improvements and implement solutions utilizing advanced Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI skills
• Researching market trends and liaising with segment and geography leaders, creating visual presentations for senior leadership
• Collaborate with business, operations and technical teams to gather requirements for new reporting needs and future state reporting enhancements
• Participate in special projects/initiatives that require technical skillset supporting business requirements

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

• Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining business reports, dashboards, and other forms of metrics
• Ability to synthesize, map and analyse data to help drive informed decisions
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBi
• MS PowerPoint / visual graphs and charts creation for management presentations
• Ability to understand financial / IT data and systems to quickly get up to speed, and leverage available data to meet the needs of the business cases and market assessments
• Creative mindset willing to challenge/change processes/reports with better ideas
• Undergraduate degree - Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (including presentation) skills and a proven ability to develop, maintain and enhance relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts.
• Analytical mindset and strong data management skills with experience in manipulating, analysing and presenting data insights are essential
• Methodical and well organised approach
