Job summary

Shiji Group in Poland is developing part of the Shiji Enterprise Platform for hospitality and retail. You will join a distributed data processing platform that ingests, harmonizes, and analyzes data sources to empower Shiji customers.

The role focuses on business-analysis of requirements, process mapping, and collaboration with product owners to ensure high-quality deliverables on a 1-year contract.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT Business Analyst experience.
• MA in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field.
• Knowledge of BPMN or UML for process modeling.
• Familiar with microservices and REST APIs.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience in a SCRUM team.

Your responsibilities

• Performing business-system oriented requirements analysis and communicating the results of your efforts
  
• Documentation of business requirements and end-to-end process for analyzed changes, with attention to impacted system areas
  
• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
  
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure common understanding of proposed solutions
  
• Working closely with Product Owner to help maintaining quality of tasks, according to standard set.
  
• Close cooperation with other teams to deliver distributed functionality
  
• Helping ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
  
• Identifying potential improvements and optimizations across the system
  

Requirements

• Previous working experience as an IT Business Analystfor 4 years
  
• MA in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant fields
  
• Knowledge of BPMN or UML , in terms of process modeling
  
• Familiar with microservices architecture and REST API
  
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  
• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
  
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
