Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Senior Engineer for a full-time, permanent position in Poland. The role focuses on advancing DevOps practices, AI-enabled initiatives, and a strong software engineering foundation with Spring Boot and NodeJS/Java.

You will work within a collaborative tech group driving modern CI/CD pipelines and platform modernization. The candidate should be proficient in Linux/Windows administration and containerized environments, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience with Spring Boot and NodeJS/Java in a modern DevOps environment.
• Strong Linux/Windows system administration skills, including cloud or containerized setups.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience using Tekton, ArgoCD, Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible with Git/Bitbucket.

• Assist on the Agentic AI rollout and refactor legacy code for current platforms.

Main responsibilities in this role

• Assist on the Agentic AI roll out towards the different development teams to refactor legacy code into code able to run on current strategy supported platforms
• Build Continuous Integration and Deployment systems to fully support an end to end pipeline for developers and teams
• Collaborate in a highly technical environment always trying to find the best solution for the customer while delivering on our promise to reduce legacy
• Develop DevOps culture within Service Domains and prepare them to be independent
• Collaborate with developers on how to get the most out of our Agentic AI solution, but also provide feedback so we can improve the current offering

Your background and skills include

• Experience with Spring (boot), NodeJS / Java Development
• Strong Linux and Windows based system administration skills, with practical experience operating them in a virtual, cloud or containerized environment
• Continuous Integration and Deployment experience, utilising tools like Tekton, ArgoCD, Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, in co-operation with GIT/Bitbucket
• Familiarity with container based architecture and infrastructure solutions, using Docker and Kubernetes

It would be ideal if you also

• AWS or Google Cloud Experience
• Groovy
• Vibe coding experience
