Job summary

Nordea Bank Norge ASA in Poland is seeking a Test Driven Development Expert to help build and maintain Java-based microservices, perform API testing, and drive quality across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Experience with QA processes (manual and automated).
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber, qtestManager).
• Excellent Java and Python OO programming skills.
• Experience with REST and SOAP API testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and developer tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket).

Responsibilities

• Apply quality engineering practices in daily work, including RESTful API testing, test case design and execution, and test automation using Python and Java
• Support design, develop and maintenance of Java-based microservices supporting credit risk, recommendations solutions, integrating with APIs, databases and external systems
• Build and evolve robust, scalable solutions, including calculation engines, ensuring compliance with credit regulations across multiple countries
• Work across the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment, operations and support, taking ownership of delivered solutions
• Collaborate closely with business experts and engineering teams, acting as a technical sparring partner, contributing to solution design, and ensuring maintainability and continuous improvement of the codebase

About our team

Meet the Retail Software Development team. Our role is tobuild and support digital solutions that help retail and credit customers manage their everyday banking.

Main responsibilities in this role:

• Apply quality engineering practices in daily work, including RESTful API testing, test case design and execution, and test automation using Python and Java

Your background and skills include:

• Expert knowledge of QA processes (both manual and automated)
• Expert knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber, qtestMenager)
• Very good knowledge of Object – oriented programing (Java & Python)
• Experience with rest/soap API testing
• Knowledge of CI/CD and developers tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket)

It would be ideal if you also:

• Programming skills in Python
• Know/use AI supporting tools (Github Copilot)
